“How much is a Kitchen?”
By Rob Thorpe
“How much is a fitted kitchen?” This is the question when it comes to a newly fitted kitchen…and any response is usually followed by the Yorkshire battle cry “Ahhh much!!?”…
Whilst this has always seemed like a “how long is a piece of string” type of question… we can hopefully break down some of the potential costs associated with your new dream kitchen project…
As of 2021 the national average price for a fitted kitchen is estimated to be £8,000.00. It is important to consider at this price point the kitchen is unlikely to include luxuries such as premium furniture, boiling water taps, wine coolers, quartz worktops, etc.
In reality, a new kitchen from Studio 35 is likely to cost from £10,000.00. This will largely be determined by the size of the space and the quality and finish of materials chosen along with the appliance brand preferred by the client.
We can supply a fantastic-looking kitchen with lacquered doors and panels with quality products from manufacturers such as Schuller and Neff from £10,000.00. Switch this door finish to a solid ceramic with matching ceramic worktops, Quooker boiling water tap and Bora integrated extractor hob with a full installation including tiling, decorating, knock-throughs, bi-fold doors, etc. this could easily treble in price.
This may seem like a really complicated process… a bit of a minefield… But do not worry! This is where we come in! We are here to guide you through this and make the budgeting process as simple as possible and help you understand where the expenses lie, what savings can be offered, what upgrades are available… And most importantly give you the best value for money!
